Christian music is making more and more of an appearance on mainstream radio stations.  Bands like Switchfoot, Thousand Foot Krutch, Casting Crowns, Third Day, Newsboys, Relient K, Skillet, Grits, Mercy Me, and Kutless are becoming common names in peoples music library.

In our particular area (The Upper Midwest) many of these bands meet annually in Willmar, MN for Sonshine Music Festival which is a gathering of Christian artists performing for over 30 thousand people. I enjoy hearing Christian music on mainstream radio stations. It shows me that there are people out there, like me, that don't necessarily appreciate the swearing and sexual innuendos of other popular songs.
